Estimator - Commercial Construction (Remote)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including schools, churches, and universities. This is a remote position, allowing for flexible work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documents to identify scope of work and cost implications
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate project estimates
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and market trends
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an estimator in commercial construction
• Experience with school, church, and university projects is preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
• Proficient in the use of estimating software and tools
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field is preferred
