SUMMARY
Delivers and picks up parts and equipment for the dealership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
The Parts Driver is the face of our company and must act in a customer service manner with our clients at all times
- Daily walk around of parts vehicle - ensure tires are aired up vehicle is in top operating condition...end of the day make sure vehicle has fuel for following day
- Verify all parts with provided invoices at time of loading in vehicle and at each individual shop location
- Check with each shop if they have any needed returns to come back
- Communicate with dispatcher and parts counter when picking parts up from other dealers
- Help stock parts that come into facility once checked in as needed
- Counting, Cleaning and organization of all bin locations as needed
- Maintain clean and truck assigned
- Notify dispatcher staff of all returns
- Assist in inspection and restocking of all returns as needed
- Ensure all outbound parts go out each day
- Pick up parts from other local Dealers
- Drop off of hot shot parts to local Wholesale customers
- Daily Review parts in wholesale bins
- Inspect all packages for any damage as needed
- Report damage at time of inspection as needed

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
