The Headlines:

In the position of Independent Liquor Merchandiser working in Denver, CO, you will be a supporting role to the Distributor Sales Team. The Merchandiser executes the merchandising strategies within assigned retail accounts. 1This role will generate sales by thoroughly servicing customers through proper restocking and rotation of products in coolers, shelves, displays, and back stock receiving areas. The Merchandiser supports the Sales Team in building displays, installation of signs, banners, cooler wraps, and adhering to CDC and the retail merchandising standards. The Merchandiser has frequent interaction with CDC personnel and store teams in varying positions.

 

This position reports to Merchandising Supervisor and collaborates with the Delivery/Warehouse teams and Sales team.

 

The Responsibilities:

· Acts as the liaison between CDC and retail accounts

· Provide excellent customer service to all retail account partners through consistent and clear communication, relationship building and attention to detail to all account needs

· Ensure schematic integrity by maintaining shelf facings and accurate pricing across retail accounts

· Maintain the highest quality of product by thorough date rotation of all packages across each point-of-sale placement

· Comply with CDC and retail account’s merchandising standards

· Maintain a clean and organized back stock area

· Safely utilize retail equipment (manual pallet jack, U-boats and hand trucks)

· Safely utilize CDC supplied equipment (electric drill, ladder, box cutter, pliers, other small tools)

· Utilize all mobile field applications as required throughout the workday

· Effective and reliable time management to complete daily work requirements

· Schedule: Five days per week, 8-hour shifts (Mon-Fri / Tues-Sat)

 

The Other Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED required; must be at minimum 21 years of age

· Valid driver’s license and motor vehicle record must fall within the MolsonCoors Pre-Employment Background Screening Guidelines

· Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis

· You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within our retailers and customers

· You have excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work independently in a field position without direct supervision at all times

· As part of the recruitment process, the candidates will be required to provide consent to complete a criminal background check
