Job Description

Valle Dorado is a 15,000 sq. ft. Restaurant & Brewery. We're looking for enthusiastic and skilled Line/Prep Cooks to join our kitchen team! In this role, you will play a vital part in our culinary operations, working alongside our chefs to prepare and present delicious dishes that delight our guests. You will be responsible for the daily preparation of ingredients, ensuring that everything is fresh and ready for service. Attention to detail and a passion for cooking are essential as you work in a high-energy environment to create memorable dining experiences. Responsibilities

• Prepare and pre-cook ingredients according to restaurant recipes and standards.
• Help ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
• Assist with menu preparation and suggest ideas for new dishes.
• Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
• Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils in good working condition.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail with a passion for culinary excellence.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic kitchen setting.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
