IMMEDIATELY HIRING - FedEx Ground - Delivery Driver

We are an independent contractor and are looking for high energy drivers In this role you will be delivering packages for one of the most trusted companies in America. You will deliver to residences and businesses. Each morning, you will meet with your team and we will provide all the tools you’ll need for a successful day.

• Full Time
• Days: 4 or 5 days per week
• Start time: 8:00 AM

Qualifications :

IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THE DRIVER POSITION, YOU MUST HAVE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:

• 1) - Must Have at least - 1 year of paid verifiable driving experience of 10,000+ lbs vehicle (step van, box truck etc) within the last 3 years , not necessary to be driving all-day every day as long as some driving was part of the job)
• 2) - A valid regular driver's license (Class C)
• 3) - Legal status to work in the USA
• 4) - Clean driving record (no DUIs, cell phone tickets, etc. in past 3 years .minor tickets OK)
• 5) - Clean criminal record (no major misdemeanors or felonies in past 10 years)
• 6) - Must be able to pass DOT physical (including drug test)
• 7) - Must be punctual, energetic, reliable and honest
• 8) - Must be at least 21 years of age

Must have truck driving experience using equal to or larger than a 10.000+ lbs, full-size delivery truck / step van

Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work 1 weekend day

Must be able to multi-task, be quick on your feet, and have excellent sense of direction

Please include any previous delivery experience – area knowledge of Doylestown area is a plus! Essential Job Functions:

• Drive vehicle to deliver packages to residential and business customers.
• Check Pre-Load of vehicle for delivery
• Deliver packages
• Operate vehicle in a safe manner, maintains vehicle cleanliness, refuels as needed and reports malfunctions and hazardous conditions
• Follow company and customer procedures and guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Observes all traffic laws and posted speed limits
• Returns all required documentation to appropriate company official
• Observes no smoking in delivery vehicle
• Maintains a neat, clean personal appearance
• Assist other delivery associates as directed by dispatcher, supervisor or managers

• Ability to get in and out of delivery van 200+ times per day
• Ability to climb multiple building floors via stairwell
