Blown Film Extruder Operator

Currently working with a fully integrated manufacturer of high-quality, heavy duty, plastic packaging company that services industrial and retail markets that has a need for Blown Film Extruder Operators for their state-of-the-art multi-layer blown film extrusion department.

Job Qualifications:

* High School diploma/GED required
* Proficient in the English languate
* Minimum 2-3yrs related operator experience operating Blown Film Extruder Machines

Job Responsibilities:

* Unloads and processes plastic coils or reels from extrusion lines
* Determines between good product and scrap by interpreting basic test results using visual work instruction
* Follow 5s standards for storage and labeling of conforming, non-conforming, and scrap product in all stages of the manufacturing process
* Ensure product quality by conducting inspections as required with the use of micrometers, calipers, microscope, and comparator
* Perform additional product tests, which may include use of water and burst test equipment
* Monitors line supply systems to ensure packaging for continuous production
