The primary functions of the Warehouse Manager are to manage all operations in Huntersville, NC warehouse. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective handling of inventory, accurate order processing, and a safe working environment.

Job Duties

• Management reporting – summary and detail of key operational functions.
• Supervising warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Maintaining appropriate staffing levels as required for workload including training.
• Accurate, timely processing of customer shipments.
• Managing inventory control processes to maintain accurate physical and system inventory.
• Implementing and optimizing warehouse workflows for efficient order picking, packing, receiving, and storage.
• Ensuring appropriate staffing levels to meet workload demands.
• Acting as the primary point of contact with other company locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• Must be able to manage a group of employees – Supervisor level and below.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must have strong ability to prioritize, multi-task and problem solve.
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and great work ethic.
• Proficient in ERP/WMS systems and familiarity with third-party portals (e.g FedEx, Amazon, 3PL)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse workforce.
• Positive and professional demeanor.
• Better than average analytical skills
• Comfortable working with material handling equipment.

Education:

• Must have a minimum of an associate degree in a related field.

Experience:

• Forklift experience required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Warehouse, Logistics and/or Supply Chain management a must.

Physical Requirements - Essential

• Must be able to walk/climb/stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able work at a variety of primary work locations.
• Must be comfortable working with or around material handling equipment.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs. repeatedly, 60 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to operate various warehouse machines – Forklift, Turret Truck etc.
• Finger/wrist dexterity to work effectively on computer keyboard or grabbing/packaging product.
