Video Editor - Remote

Location: USA (Remote) About Us: LifeSiteNews.com is a mission-driven non-profit organization dedicated to producing high-quality, impactful video content. We are looking for a talented and passionate Video Editor to join our video team remotely. Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have an established background in video editing, with the ability to work under tight deadlines and independently manage projects from start to finish. While the primary focus is on video production, some experience in camera operation is a plus. Key Responsibilities:

• Edit weekly video podcasts and other video content.
• Gather and implement news clips, B-Roll, and other media.
• Assist with live streaming using Wirecast Pro, OBS, and Zoom (ReStream experience is a plus).
• Occasionally film on-location video projects, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Professional in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects skills are a plus).
• Experience in documentary and/or cinematic filmmaking is preferred.
• Strong understanding of video editing techniques and principles.
• Expertise in recording and mastering audio, with a solid understanding of recording equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to work some weekends and travel if necessary.
• Willingness to cover controversial topics.
