Vice President, Group Director of Media (Head of Biddable Media)

What You'll Do
As the Vice President, Group Director of Media, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our clients' success and our agency's future. Here's what you can expect:
Leadership & Strategy
Oversee and mentor a team of 10-20 talented media professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work.
Serve as a strategic expert, guiding both clients and the internal client services team to achieve outstanding results.
Build and manage a cohesive team, structuring roles and responsibilities to optimize efficiency and performance.
Drive process improvements and uphold best practices across all media disciplines.
Client Partnership
Act as a trusted advisor for clients, ensuring satisfaction through regular health checks and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
Develop and present strategic plans, proposals, and performance analyses tailored to client goals.
Provide expert oversight of paid media deliverables, including SEM, paid social, and programmatic advertising.
Business Development
Collaborate with leadership on new business opportunities, from crafting proposals to negotiating contracts.
Represent the agency as a thought leader at industry events, conferences, and in publications.
Operations & Oversight
Manage team allocations and project timelines, ensuring seamless execution using project management tools.
Conduct keyword research, social listening, and deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
Stay at the forefront of industry trends, refining services and processes to maintain a competitive edge.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for a candidate with exceptional skills in leadership, problem-solving, and client management. Here's what makes an ideal fit:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, computer science, or a related field.
Minimum of 12 years of experience managing paid search, paid social, and media campaigns.
At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing.
Proven success in managing P&L and developing high-performing teams.
Expertise:
Advanced knowledge of SEM, paid social, programmatic, and display advertising.
Working knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and basic web technologies.
Familiarity with social networking sites, search engines, and app stores.
Leadership & Communication:
A track record of motivating and mentoring talent.
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
What We Offer
Competitive salary range: $187,500 - $247,500, plus opportunities for additional compensation and bonuses.
A flexible work environment: Remote candidates are encouraged to apply, though local candidates who can foster collaboration in-office are preferred.

Additional Information
Candidates must have Fortune 500 or prior big agency experience.
Must have adequate LinkedIn endorsements for SEM (30+) and Paid Social (30+).
