The Fellow is a key consulting role supporting the Genesis Labs Rocket to Chiral Space chemistry project.  The Fellow responds to new scientific approaches to chiral separation and achiral purification, lending insights into workflows, processes and optimization of such. The Fellow also supports the chemistry team in development of publications and articles supporting the workflows developed.
This Fellow plays a critical role both in supporting development of these new chemistry processes as well as summarizing and supporting dissemination of the knowledge beyond the small team.  The external expertise lends perspective and credibility to the internal discovery efforts.
The role requires extensive knowledge of chiral separation and achiral purification, technical expertise in understanding the nature of chirality, chiral detection, and supercritical fluid chromatography separations. In addition, this role requires experience in external technical documentation, publications and presentations.

Major Accountabilities:
Work with the Genesis Labs Rocket to Chiral Space project team to support further development of chiral separations and achiral purification processes to enhance compound availability and quality to internal chemical compound libraries. 
Help define process optimizations and key opportunities / bottlenecks for chiral separation and achiral purification. 
Consult with project team to identify streamlining opportunities, troubleshoot technical hurdles and document processes for internal audiences.
Consult with project team to document processes for external publications.
Develop contextual technical documentation to properly place the new processes within the current industry landscape.

Key Performance Indicators: 
Enhanced sense of clarity for final chiral processes and next steps for innovation.
Finalized documentation for internal and external publication and distribution.

Experienced in:

  • - Extensive expertise in chiral separation and achiral purification
  • - Insights into workflows, processes and optimization of such.
  • - Technical expert understanding the nature of chirality and chiral detection, supercritical fluid chromatography separations expert
  • - Experience in external technical documentation, publications and presentations.


Location: Cambridge, MA 
Pay Rate: (W-2) $250 - 315/hour based upon experience and qualifications
Contract: Short term contract
