Title: Tax Manager - Mid-Sized CPA Firm

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Job Description: The firm is currently seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their firm in a newly created position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of compliance, individual, partnership, corporate, and trust and estate tax experience. The Tax Manager will collaborate with other members of the firm to enhance client relationships and expand firm offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on a range of tax services including individual, partnership, corporate, and trust and estate tax.
• Provide strategic tax planning and compliance services to clients in various industries.
• Review work on client engagements to ensure adherence to applicable tax laws and firm standards.
• Keep senior leadership informed of engagement status and client inquiries.
• Field and answer any technical tax-related questions from clients.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide guidance and support to team members.
• Conduct tax research and planning as needed for clients or senior management of the firm.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or MST preferred
• Knowledge of both business and individual taxes required
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with multi-state and consolidated tax returns
• Active CPA license or significant progress toward certification
• Previous supervisory experience preferred

Compensation:

• Competitive base salary ($125-$150k)
• Eligible for annual bonus and review
