Sealing Technologies, Inc. is a Maryland-based company providing Cyber Security services and cutting-edge technologies to the Federal Government. SealingTech is looking for an experienced and talented Systems Engineer to help drive the development of a solution that SealingTech is creating for the Department of Defense (DoD).

As a Systems Engineer you will be part of the Security Enhanced Information Sharing (SEIS) mission area. SEIS provides solutions that allow our government to securely share information. As part of our agile team, you will contribute to the planning and execution of the development of an HPC solution.

Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Developing software in Python
• Writing Ansible scripts to deploy software and configurations
• Developing SELinux policy for developed software
• Customizing a RHEL installation to support unique customer requirements
• Developing documentation for software and systems that the team creates

Minimum Qualifications:

• US Citizen
• Active Top Secret DoD clearance or the ability to obtain one
• 7 combined years of education or experience
• Proficient in MS Teams, JIRA, and SharePoint
• Experience with Python and Ansible
• Understand container technology such as Docker, Podman, and Singularity
• Experience with Linux and comfortable on the Linux command line
• Familiar with VMWare, specifically ESXi
• Experience with at least 1 revision control system such as Git
• Able to work on development and documentation tasks with review and assistance
• Understand the basics of security and secure programming practices
• Understand the Agile development process and are familiar with sprint closeout/planning meetings process and expectations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with HPC software such as PBS Pro, Slurm, Open OnDemand
• Experience with containers
• Experience developing SELinux policy
• Experience with CrayOS
• Experience with Ceph
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• SCRUM certified
• Security + Certification
• Experience interacting with customers
• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Systems Administration, Systems Engineering or a related form of engineering training.

**This role has an internal job title of Systems Engineer II or Systems Engineer III** .  The anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to the anticipated salary, one will have the opportunity to qualify for bonuses.
