Job Description

Cordia Resources is seeking a Staff Accountant who will be responsible for supporting accounts payable, month-end journal entries, and audit support. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with non-profit accounting, Bill.com, and Sage Intacct is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying and posting invoices and expense reports.
• Prepare and enter month-end journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide support during annual audits.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit organization.
• Proficiency with accounting software; experience with Bill.com and Sage Intacct is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in a non-profit environment a plus.
• Familiarity with Bill.com and Sage Intacct a plus
