Schedule: Monday and Friday (8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm), Tuesday through Thursday (1pm - 9pm)
OVERVIEW: Covenant House Georgia builds a bridge to hope for young people facing homelessness and survivors of trafficking through unconditional love, absolute respect, and relentless support. Our doors are open 24/7 and our high-quality programs are designed to empower young people to rise and overcome adversity, today and in the future.
PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Shelter coordinator is responsible for creating a safe, healthy and structured environment for youth seeking shelter. The Shelter coordinator also provides support services to ensure that the daily needs of youth are met as well as providing the necessary services to stabilize, assess, and make referrals to needed resources. The Shelter coordinator provides direct supervision of Youth Empowerment Specialist Supervisors including Overnight Supervisors and plays a key role in our multidisciplinary approach to providing services. The coordinator reports to the Director of Residential Services.
