As a Senior Data Engineer Consultant, you have established yourself as a technical and functional expert among your peers and clients. Your role involves developing and implementing data solutions, tackling complex projects, and leveraging the latest technologies. You are recognized as a preeminent problem solver and technical subject matter expert (SME).

What you will bring to Keyrus :

Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Economics, Maths, Statistics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field with a strong interest in IT and modern technologies.

Experience : Over 7 years of experience in data architecting, data discovery, data modelling, and modern data concepts such as Data Cloud, Data Fabric, Data Mesh, and traditional data warehousing. Leading data platform implementations such as Datalake, Data Lakehouse, and Cloud Data Warehouse.

Technical Expertise : Extensive knowledge in various technologies and offerings within the Keyrus portfolio, including Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and Digital.

Tools and Technologies : Proficiency in data movement and integration tools like SQL, dbt, Qlik-Talend, AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, Informatica, Python, and Java. Strong knowledge of SQL, relational, and MPP databases (e.g., Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Redshift).

Analytical Skills : Exceptional analytical abilities and creative problem-solving skills.

Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical solutions to clients.

Presentation Skills : Experienced in delivering presentations and creating Proof of Concepts/Proof of Value.

Mentorship: Skilled in mentoring and developing data engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment including code, pipelines, diagrams reviews.

Security and Networking : Knowledgeable in security and networking aspects within data platforms and integration.

Operating Systems : Proficiency in using Linux and Windows CLI shells, bash, and PS scripting.~

A little about the position...

• Develop Data Solutions : Design and develop data models, ETL processes, data storage solutions, and business logic rules to meet client needs.
• Requirement Analysis : Gather, challenge, and translate customer requirements into functional and technical designs.
• Data Modelling and Architecture : Design and develop complex data models and solution architectures.
• Documentation : Document all developments, models, and frameworks.
• Senior Technical Support : Act as a senior developer on project teams, create and review templates, and conduct code reviews.
• Internal R&D : Participate in Data Engineering portfolio development, create demos, research technologies, and build the knowledge base.
• Client Interaction : Work with clients' internal IT teams to validate and ensure technical solutions function correctly.
• Presales Activities : Support Sales and Delivery Leads during presales activities.
• Strategic Development : Contribute to the development of the next data engineering offerings and accelerators.
• Tool Selection : Map business and IT requirements to the capabilities of selected tools.
• Project Management : Apply technical and functional expertise across multiple projects to ensure optimal success.
• Best Practices Development : Develop and implement Keyrus best practices in your area of expertise.
• Implementation Frameworks : Create implementation frameworks and methodologies.
• Training Material Development : Develop training materials for internal and external use at clients.

Salary range: 150K-190K OTE
