Job Description:

Gulf International Forum is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to be a part-time Research Assistant for Dr. Dania Thafer. The role involves supporting research initiatives and assisting with coordinating programs at the Forum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting research, literature reviews, and data collection as directed by the research team.
• Organize and maintain research data, documents, and records.
• Contribute to the development of research proposals.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration by relaying information and resolving inquiries or issues.
• Assist in event logistics as requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., international relations, political science, business, communication, social sciences).
• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and research software/tools.
• Prior experience in event coordination or project management is a plus.
• Interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and external partners.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and multitask efficiently.
