Position Description:
The reception staff cordially greets and receives hospital guests, ascertains their needs and appropriately directs visitors. The receptionist performs and documents initial infection control practices and screenings according to hospital guidelines. This position will operates the hospital switchboard in a professional manner and routes calls correctly. Performs admission registration process, charge posting and a variety of clerical duties. Complies with attendance and punctuality policy.
Hours:
Hours for this position are Full Time, 36 hours per week, 7am to 7:30pm. The position works every Thursday and Friday, and every other weekend.

QualificationsReceptionist Job Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Accurate typing skills and previous office experience required.
Effective oral and written communication skills and demonstrated interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse population.
Ability to make independent, responsible decisions upholding hospital policy .
