Job Description

We have been retained by our client, a growing Federal General Contractor in the Fresno, CA area, to find a Quality Control Manager . This role will involve managing and executing the Quality Control Plan in line with project requirements, ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship, and maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders.

Duties:

  • Develop and manage the Quality Control Plan according to contract requirements.
  • Perform and document the three phases of quality control: Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up.
  • Coordinate with the project team to address and resolve any constructability issues.
  • Oversee inspections and ensure all work meets contract specifications.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of daily activities and project progress.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent or QCM.
  • Experience with federal construction projects, including familiarity with NAVFAC/USACE standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Project).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Certifications in Construction Quality Management (CQM-C) and OSHA 30-Hour are required.
