One of the country's top General Contractors is searching for a Quality Control Manager to join their team. This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who are looking to advance their career in the construction field.
Company provides construction management and design-build services for projects of all sizes and levels of complexity. Company has contracts with the USACE, DOD, GSA, EPA and Various Other Federal Government Agencies. Therefore, knowledge of the Federal construction market with USACE' s RMS System, PS Scheduling and other systems are preferred!
Quality Control Manager Responsibilities:
* Ability to review Federal Solicitations and assist with detailed responses is required.
* Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies
* Experience with Various Other Federal Government Agencies USACE, DOD, GSA, EPA
* Create and maintain documentation for quality inspections, audits, and reports
* Conduct regular quality control inspections on construction sites and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
* Collaborate with project managers and teams to identify and address quality control issues and provide effective solutions
* Monitor subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they meet quality control requirements
* Train and educate employees on quality control processes and procedures
* Conduct internal audits to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions
Skills:
* Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry
* Degree in construction or equivalent
* At least 5 years of experience in a Quality Control Manager role
* Thorough knowledge of construction quality control processes and standards
* Familiar with requirements of EM
