The Opportunity

Were seeking a talented and driven Project Finance Associate to join one of our esteemed clients a leading law firm specializing in corporate legal services. In this role youll work with a dynamic team to support energy project development and finance initiatives with a focus on distributed and utilityscale renewable energy projects. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to impactful work in a growing and innovative sector.

What Youll Do

• Lead and Execute : Manage USbased project development and financing for renewable energy projects.
• Draft and Negotiate : Work with principal financing documentation including purchase agreements partnership agreements credit agreements security and pledge agreements and depositary agreements.
• Ensure Diligence : Oversee due diligence related to key commercial project documentation such as development agreements PPAs EPCs site control and interconnection agreements.
• Collaborate Effectively : Partner with crossfunctional teams and clients to deliver highquality outcomes.

What You Bring to the Table

• Education : JD or LLM from an ABAaccredited law school.
• Bar Admission : Admitted or eligible for admission in MA DC NY or CA .
• Experience : At least 4 years of project finance experience at a law firm with expertise in renewable energy projects.
• Skills :
  • Proficiency in handling project financing documentation and commercial agreements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
  • Professionalism in client interactions.
• TeamOriented : Ability to collaborate effectively and balance multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.

Your Skillset

• Project Finance Expertise : Deep understanding of financing structures and renewable energy project development.
• Contract Proficiency : Experience drafting and negotiating key agreements related to energy projects.
• Strategic Thinking : Ability to provide thoughtful counsel to clients in highstakes transactions.
