Introduction
The Department of Corrections, Division of Juvenile Corrections, is focused on public safety through the custody and supervision of youth placed in our care. The Department of Corrections is currently recruiting to fill a Program and Policy Analyst - Advanced position. This position will be based out of one of the three offices in the Northwest Region:

Position Summary
This position has responsibility for program development, planning and implementation of programs, collection of data to analyze and evaluate program effectiveness, management of multi-disciplinary programs and contract staff, forecasting trends related to effective programming, and researching effective program outcomes of treatment services to youth.
The position provides recommendations for the direction of program implementation by assessing the social and economic needs of clients in order to accurately administer the financial activities of millions of dollars in programming.
This position also implements policies and guidelines from State and Federal laws, administrative rules, and state agency rules and regulations. The position also determines and evaluates contractual and programmatic performance outcomes and administers quality improvement plans to ensure Department goals are met.
Working Conditions: Significant travel time and non-traditional hours may be required in this position as the region includes multiple counties. This position may need to participate in meetings with law enforcement, community advisory committees, and juvenile program participants during the evening or on weekends.
Salary Information
This position is in pay schedule and range 07-03 with a starting pay of $33.00/hour - $44.33/hour . Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. A probationary period is required.

Job Details
This position offers an optional hybrid remote work schedule, allowing up to 3 days remote per week.
Any remote work must be performed from Wisconsin.
Anticipated schedule will be Monday – Friday 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM. Some flexibility in start time may be available. This position is FLSA Exempt.
This position will travel routinely to assigned DOC worksites across the state.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States (i.e. a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without DOC sponsorship) at the time of application.
The Department of Corrections may conduct pre-employment drug screens. Any applicant who is offered employment in a position which requires a pre-employment drug screen must pass the screen as a contingency of employment.
The Department of Corrections will conduct criminal background checks on applicants prior to selection. Upon hire, all new DOC employees are subject to fingerprinting.

Qualifications
Minimally qualified applicants will have: Experience performing program evaluation, including data collection & analysis, and planning & implementation for programs and/or systems. Experience presenting data and findings to various stakeholders or audiences. Experience aligning organizational procurement procedures with best practices.
In addition to the above, well qualified applicants will have: Experience working with youth and young adults and/or supporting at-risk population through programs, policies or procedures. Experience creating or updating program delivery and/or policies and procedures. Experience working with community partners and building partnerships with stakeholders.
