Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities - Conduct hands-on silicon photonic IC components, subsystem testing and characterization. Perform chip level optical alignment and corresponding optical/electrical testing.
- Support wafer-level testing.
- Operate and maintain optical and electrical test setup and equipment.
- Handle, manage and inspect fine materials with precision and care.
- Assist in material handling and picking for various projects.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members.
- Identify and solve problems that arise during the testing and characterization process.
- Maintain accurate records of test results and material usage.
Education & Experience - High school and above. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Industry background with 1yr+ working experiences, lab experiences preferred
Skills - Hands-on experience with fiber, optical and electrical test equipment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in material management and handling fine materials.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
