Job Description

Training Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (4-week duration, subject to change)
Shift Schedule:

Post-training shift: 8-hour shift with a one-hour lunch break
Availability required: as early as 5 am and as late as midnight
Workdays: 5 days a week, including potential weekends
Overtime and holiday work as needed
Job Duties:

Handle prior authorization inquiry calls and requests with a customer service focus
Research and resolve formulary and benefits issues using appropriate reference materials
Process member prescriptions and prior authorizations through various computer systems, ensuring data accuracy
Receive and process prior authorization requests for medications not inherently covered
Promptly resolve issues and complaints, adhering to established guidelines
Assist pharmacists by gathering member data for consultations
Maintain a safe and secure home workspace, reporting any safety concerns promptly
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Private, secure home workspace with hard-wired Ethernet connection
Reside in one of the specified states
Licensure/Certification Requirement:

Active National or State Board Pharmacy Technician Licensure (PTCB or State Board of Pharmacy Licensure)
