Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Remote Pharmacist to join our team! This role offers the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home or from our facility. Please note that orientation and initial training will take place on-site to ensure you have all the tools you need to succeed.
As a Remote Pharmacist, you'll be providing support to multiple hospitals with patient counts ranging from 30 to 60. Using ACEIT and various medication management processes, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive safe, effective, and appropriate medication care. Your expertise will help guide the healthcare team to achieve positive clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify, assess, and monitor patient medication orders to ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide recommendations and interventions that support positive patient outcomes.
Make independent clinical decisions using your professional judgment, while supervising staff working under your direction.
Utilize advanced technology and systems to streamline the medication verification process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
Licensure: Must hold an active pharmacist license in Arkansas or Oklahoma. Licensure in Texas is a plus!
Education: Completion of a degree from an accredited pharmacy program or an equivalent program recognized by a certifying agency.
Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a pharmacy setting.
Equipment & Technology:
General office equipment, including a computer, telephone, and high-speed internet connection.
Physical Requirements:
Strong visual acuity and effective communication skills.
Ability to occasionally lift, push, pull, or retrieve objects up to 30 pounds. Reasonable accommodations can be made for tasks that exceed these limits.
Prolonged standing and walking may be required, along with the ability to bend, kneel, and stoop during patient care tasks.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to make informed decisions, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Comfortable working independently without constant supervision.
Work Environment:
Indoor, temperature-controlled, and smoke-free environment.
May be exposed to blood or body fluids in certain settings.
Occasional outdoor exposure.
