Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated & experienced RN for the PACU at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus.

Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus is a fully accredited acute care hospital dedicated to providing the finest medical and health care services to the residents of Ocean and Monmouth counties. An affiliate of the RWJBarnabas Health system, Monmouth South is a sister hospital to Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch.

Monmouth South is the only hospital in the region to provide private rooms on all of its inpatient units, providing an environment more conducive to healing. Several other enhancements have been made to provide superior service to Lakewood and surrounding region as well including the Better Health Senior Membership Program, state-of-the-art Geriatrics Institute, and an expansion of cancer services.

Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus is conveniently located on Route 9 in Lakewood and is committed to helping patients live their best lives by getting them back to the activities that are most important to them, sooner.

Qualifications:

Required:

• RN Degree
• NJ RN License required
• At least one year current PACU or Critical Care RN experience
• BLS, ACLS & PALS (American Heart Association)

Preferred:

• BSN
• Specialty Certification

Scheduling Requirements :

• Day Shift Per Diem
• 1 w/e per scdule on call plus one winter and one summer holiday on call

Essential Functions:

• The RN cares for our patients post surgery and procedures including Pediatric Dental
• Part of a dynamic team in the Peri-Op Areas

This is a per diem position. Please note, this position requires one 24-hour weekend call monthly, one summer holiday call and one winter holiday call.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
• Current New Jersey RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Associtiaton (AHA) required
• ACLS required
• PALS required
• At least one year Critical Care experience required
• EOE
