JOB SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of a pathologist, independently performs or assists in the dissection, description, and histologic sampling of a full range of surgical specimens.

We are seeking a full-time Pathologists’ Assistant to join our group of seven PAs. Clin-Path Associates, PLC, is Arizona’s largest private pathology practice including 31 board-certified pathologists, 7 pathologists’ assistants, and an independently owned, CAP-accredited anatomic pathology laboratory. Our group services the greater Phoenix area and East Valley and includes coverage at an MD Anderson-affiliated hospital. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and independent pathologist’s assistant with a strong work ethic to join our team. There will be a rotation to two hospitals and our Pathologist owned laboratory. No autopsies. Hospital sites perform frozens. Weekend coverage and Holiday Call are rotated among the PAs.
