We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Parts Counter to join our team at [company name]. As a Parts Counter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and accurate parts identification and sales to both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct parts for their vehicles or equipment
- Provide accurate pricing and availability information to customers
- Process parts sales transactions and ensure proper payment processing
- Maintain a clean and organized parts counter and work area
- Assist in receiving and stocking new parts inventory
- Answer phone calls and emails regarding parts inquiries
- Work closely with service department to ensure accurate parts ordering and delivery
- Provide outstanding customer service and build lasting relationships with customers
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in automotive or equipment parts sales preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive or equipment parts
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with parts management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy parts as needed
