We are a growing boutique manufacturer seeking a proactive Part-time Purchasing Specialist to join our team! This part-time, fully remote role is ideal for someone who excels in managing purchase orders, collaborating with suppliers, and working within a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

As a Part-time Purchasing Specialist , you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our daily operations run smoothly. We're seeking a reliable, detail-driven individual who can manage purchasing activities with ease, spot potential issues before they arise, and is eager to work collaboratively across departments.

• Compensation: $20 - $26 per hour

What You Will Do:

• Create, review, and process purchase orders based on inventory needs and sales forecasts
• Ensure accuracy of POs, including pricing, quantities, and delivery dates
• Track order status and maintain clear communication with suppliers; collaborate with inventory and logistics teams to reconcile deliveries and address any issues
• Resolve discrepancies in orders, ensuring timely fulfillment; work to streamline processes
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports on PO activities

What You Bring:

• Associate’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, with a focus on PO management
• Strong attention to detail and ability to catch discrepancies early
• Proficiency in systems like Shopify, Asana, Excel, and MS Office
• Stellar organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams
• A proactive attitude with a passion for improving processes
