Job Description

Stingray Direct is a health and wellness enterprise that builds vitality-conscious brands and generates products to increase consumers' quality of life. We seek an experienced Marketplace Manager with a specialized focus on Amazon & Walmart to join our multifaceted team.

The Amazon & Walmart Online Marketplace Manager will lead, manage, and grow our portfolio of health and wellness brands in the complex, fast-paced world of online retail. This role is central to our success in multichannel selling, requiring an individual with an in-depth understanding of marketplace dynamics, competitor analysis, and e-commerce best practices on Amazon, Walmart, and other major online marketplaces. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving growth and optimizing online sales channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute marketplace strategies to drive sales growth, profitability, and brand presence while ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

  • Manage and optimize product listings using SEO best practices, A/B testing, and enhanced content to improve visibility and conversion rates.

  • Implement competitive pricing strategies through demand forecasting, historical data analysis, and algorithm-driven optimizations.

  • Develop and oversee promotional campaigns such as Lightning Deals, Coupons, and Seasonal Discounts, analyzing their impact on revenue and profitability.

  • Lead advertising initiatives across Amazon PPC, DSP, Sponsored Ads, and Walmart Connect, continuously optimizing for ROAS and efficiency.

  • Maintain optimal stock levels through close coordination with supply chain teams to prevent stockouts, overstocking, and logistics inefficiencies.

  • Ensure compliance with marketplace policies, leveraging Amazon Brand Registry and Walmart guidelines to maintain account health and reputation.

  • Identify, monitor, and address risks related to unauthorized sellers, counterfeit products, and MAP policy violations to protect brand integrity.

  • Actively manage customer interactions, including review monitoring, Q&A responses, and proactive reputation management to enhance brand trust.

  • Utilize advanced data analytics and business intelligence tools to track key performance metrics, assess trends, and inform marketplace decisions.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product development teams to ensure seamless execution of marketplace strategies.

  • Stay ahead of evolving marketplace trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices to maintain a competitive advantage.

  • Oversee new product launches and brand refreshes, working with creative and content teams to ensure a strong marketplace presence.

  • Implement external traffic growth strategies, including influencer partnerships, affiliate programs, and targeted social media advertising to drive incremental sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

  • 3-5 years of experience selling on the Amazon.com / Walmart.com platforms with an e-commerce-first CPG brand

  • Demonstrated success in increasing sales, profitability, and market share on online marketplaces.

  • Experience leading large, complex, and first-of-their-kind projects end to end, from strategy to launch to scale

  • Experience with inventory management and supply chain coordination

  • A strong understanding of LTV and CAC components

  • Experience in both FBA and FBM sales models

  • Expert in Excel, data analysis, and other reporting tools

  • Expert in Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Seller Center, advertising platforms, and analytics tools

  • Familiar with Amazon & Walmart PPC media buying and opportunities to optimize performance marketing campaigns

  • Exceptional English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all departments

  • Flawless attention to detail in planning and execution of all assigned tasks

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with minimal supervision.
