Job Title : Marketing Assistant

Location : Jersey City, NJ - Onsite

Hours / Schedule : 9AM to 5PM

Type: Direct Hire 


Our company is recognized as a certified global leader in medical biotechnologies, specializing in cellular therapies.  We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, mid-level Marketing Assistant to support our marketing initiatives.  This position requires someone who is passionate about delivering memorable experiences while driving brand awareness.



Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation of scheduling of digital marketing campaigns (social media, email marketing, and website updates).
• Coordinate production of promotional materials, presentations, and marketing collateral.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
• Support the Marketing Manager with administrative tasks, reports, and content management.
• Plan and execute company events, trade shows, sponsorship activations, and community outreach programs.
• Manage event coordination, including vendor communication, contracts, permits, and on-site coordination.
• Develop event timelines, checklists, and post-event evaluations.
• Assist with budgeting, invoices, and expense tracking for events.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
• 2-3 years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry
• Experience in event planning
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and basic design software 
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced constantly changing environment
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for events
• Creative thinker with attention to detail
• Team player who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Customer service mindset when interacting with clients and vendors
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficient in Adobe Software and Figma a +
• Willing to travel within the US a +
