Job Description

  • Provide support to assess network hardware and software and monitor network performance.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the overall LAN, MAN, WAN topologies, routing methods, encryptions, access management, thresholds, and bottleneck management.
  • Actively support and participate in each phase and hand over deliverables from the completion of the assessment.
  • Provide support and discover network and related port management.
  • Review and update documentation for monitoring, processes, network diagrams, and existing device inventory.
  • Document and evaluate required assessment details for all the network devices (LAN devices, routers, switches, WAPs) and any other related equipment and services.
  • Review and update detailed network diagrams and documents for network communication systems design and planning.
  • Provide extensive, precise details for choosing the hardware and applications.
  • Produce necessary data and reports.
  • Participate in team and management meetings/reviews.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of IP Addressing and subnetting
  • Working knowledge or qualification Linux/ Unix
  • Working knowledge or qualification in Windows
  • Cisco and/or Checkpoint Certified

    qualifications

  • Experience in Networking Systems, Communication Engineering, Network Operations
  • Very good understanding of information systems and remote communications system architecture
