The Hospital Inpatient Cardiovascular Sonographer will be a full-time, permanent position, employed by a recognized health system that provides care to patients throughout North Carolina.

The Inpatient Hospital Cardiovascular Sonographer will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, specializing in cardiovascular imaging, to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and vascular conditions. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and passionate about advancing cardiovascular health.
Responsibilities of the Hospital Inpatient Cardiovascular Sonographer include performing comprehensive echocardiograms, including trasthoracic and stress echocardiograms, conducting vascular studies, such as arterial and venous duplex ultrasound examinations, along with documenting and managing patient records accurately. The Hospital Cardiovascular Sonographer will also prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process, collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to interpret and discuss findings, and adhere to safety and regulatory guidelines to ensure the highest standard of care.
Ideally the Inpatient Hospital Cardiovascular Sonographer will have previous cardiac sonographer experience in either an inpatient or outpatient setting, and ARDMS or CCI certified.
