Description

The Experience Coordinator supports and executes the delivery of high quality, individualized and technically excellent products and services onboard the yacht. This role oversees and ensures the highest levels of safety and engagement for participating guests by managing programming and services for onboard programming and The Marina. Enlivens The Marina experience by demonstrating and maintaining the safe operation of all water sports equipment with focus on personalized instruction. Supporting the Entertainment Ambassador with the efficient execution of the Entertainment & Enrichment programming and leading Ladies and Gentlemen, with a focus on The Marina; Prepares, organizes and schedules daytime activities, evening entertainment, social events, and speaking engagements; Assists in delivery of Ritz Kids programming when required; Visits and walks all areas of the yacht to proactively engage with guests in order to identify their expectations and needs fulfilling them promptly. Verify the smooth running of entertainment activities, acting on and following up on any issues found to ensure standards are not affected; Arrival and departure duties in cooperation with the Guest Services Manager and Shore Collection Manager; Liaise with the corporate Hotel Operations team in developing The Marina program and activities; Implements, monitors, evaluates, and manages the operations of The Marina program and area in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures and regulations. Works closely with the Marine Team regarding scheduling, operation and maintenance of The Marina; Has knowledge and ability to demonstrate the use of all water sports equipment. This includes Hobie Cats, paddle boards, kayaks, windsurfer and snorkeling equipment; Maintains the safety of guests and employees at all times with the ability to anticipate the changing environment; Responsible to manage the guest check-in / check-out in the Property Management mobile gangway system and ensures that guests and employees utilizing The Marina are properly recorded and accounted for; Manage The Marina retail operation for all goods and services sold at The Marina; Assists the Wellness Coach in executing the onboard Wellness program and activities; Monitors and evaluates guests’ comments and creates plans for improvements; Proactively responds to issues or potential problems quickly and efficiently involving relevant people as required. Communicates any challenges, complaints or service difficulties to immediate supervisor keeping the Entertainment Ambassador promptly and fully informed of all problems and matters of significance; Supports the onboard Hotel Operations team by assisting where needed as business dictates; Displays a thorough knowledge of the yacht’s daily activities to be able to advise and promote to guests; Prepares voyage reports on an itinerary-by-itinerary basis to be sent to the corporate office; Qualifications

Valid Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) and flag certification for the duration of the contract and appropriate to position; A Bachelor’s degree, or diploma in Education, Fitness, Recreation, Tourism or a related field; Valid Lifeguard certification; Valid Coxswain power boat license; Valid CPR and First Aid Certification; Preferred experience working with children activities and programs; Preferred Instructor qualification for sailboats and windsurfers; Preferred fitness instructor certification to allow the successful Lady or Gentleman to support the onboard fitness program; Preferred experience working with travel destination experiences. Arts and entertainment background considered an asset; Capable of operating inventory systems in the capacity of a regular user; Strong communication, customer service, organization and multi-tasking skills. Comfortable public speaking; Good knowledge and experience in Public Health rules and regulations related to USPH and HACCP; Multilingual considered an asset; Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) or Equivalent certifications, considered an asset

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The Lady or Gentleman must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.; All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be physically able to participate in emergency lifesaving procedures and drills. Full use and range of arms and legs as well as full visual, verbal and hearing abilities are required to receive and give instructions in the event of an emergency including the lowering of lifeboats. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.; All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be able to communicate in the English language in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, supervisors and co-workers.;
