Position Overview
The Estimator-Roofing plays a crucial role in the construction process by providing accurate cost estimates for roofing projects. This position involves evaluating project specifications, conducting site visits, and collaborating with the sales team to ensure competitive and profitable bidding against market standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates for roofing projects.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary data for estimations.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop competitive bidding strategies and proposals.
• Engage in negotiations with clients and subcontractors to finalize contract terms and pricing.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and project documentation.
• Analyze market trends and pricing to ensure competitive and profitable estimates.
• Review and update estimates as project specifications change or additional information becomes available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an estimator in the roofing or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and materials.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with contract management principles and practices.
• Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
