The Information Technology Specialist (ITS) II, working as an End User Computing System Administrator in the Infrastructure Services Section, is responsible for managing complex IT projects and infrastructure initiatives. This role includes leading the planning, installation, configuration, upgrading, and maintenance of end-user computing systems, along with system administration.
The ITS II provides technical expertise, guidance, and support to IT staff while overseeing all aspects of Microsoft Windows environment management, including system administration, user and device provisioning, and device maintenance. Additionally, the incumbent supports the department’s IT services throughout all phases of the FI$Cal system implementation. Responsibilities include managing both physical and virtual devices for end-user computing. While the primary focus is on Client Services and System Engineering, assignments in other domains may be required as needed.

At FI$Cal, we offer remote-centered position with the flexibility of telework for three or more days per week. In-office attendance is mandatory on designated days. Our office is located at 2000 Evergreen Street, Sacramento, CA. Candidates residing outside of California are welcome to interview, but proof of California residency is required before appointment. This position requires prolonged sitting in an office-setting environment with the use of a personal computer.
