Job Title: Drug Pre-Authorization Specialist

Pay: $19-$22 per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (some flexibility in start/end times).

About Our Client:

Our client is a prominent healthcare organization seeking temporary support during their peak season from October to March. They specialize in specialty drugs and need assistance with insurance verification and prior authorizations.

Job Description:

This position is responsible for reviewing medical records and medical policies to obtain authorizations as they pertain to medical drug injections.  

Key Responsibilities:

• The primary function is to obtain all necessary pre-authorizations or pre-determinations for each patient to have treatment with a medical drug injection.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in prior authorization and pre-certification.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, including urgent authorization requests.
• Strong knowledge of insurance verification processes.
