As a Director, IT Operations for the Aero IT Operations team here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving the strategy and solutions for the Aero business unit. You define and maintain standards for managing projects, deliverables, investment and benefits. You will oversee overall program management for all projects. You will be responsible for change management and setting the cadence for execution. You will be responsible for conducting program health analysis and program/project financials. You will be responsible for creating communication plans and standardizing reporting and dashboards at portfolio level.

You will be responsible for creating MOS to provide visibility and transparency to stakeholders and sponsors. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into innovative technology solutions. Your expertise contributes to the success of operations, ensuring efficient and secure systems that support mission-critical projects. You'll work out of our designated location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the digital transformation for Aerospace, enabling us to deliver cutting-edge solutions to our customers. Your work will contribute to the growth and success of our business, ensuring that our IT systems are aligned with industry standards and best practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their IT needs and develop technology strategies to support their objectives.
• Lead the implementation of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring successful delivery within budget and timeline.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in IT processes and systems.
• Provide guidance and support to the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities for business growth and improvement.
• Provide leadership and guidance to leaders on program MOS and best practices

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 5+ years of experience in leadership roles, preferably in IT, PMO, Operations or any other related field
• Strong understanding of IT systems and technologies, with a focus on delivering solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Program Management experience
