JD:

A DevOps Engineer bridges the gap between development and operations by automating and streamlining the software delivery process. They ensure that software is released reliably and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD pipeline management: Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• System monitoring and maintenance: Monitor and maintain system health and performance.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with development/operation teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications.
• Security and compliance: Ensure security and compliance throughout the development process.
• Provide support to other team members when needed
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and application issues in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure processes and tools.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in DevOps system administration or related fields.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Harness GithubActions AzureDevops Jenkins).
• Handson experience with configuration management tools like Ansible etc..
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Powershell Bash).
• Experience with Azure cloud platform (Good to have knowledge on AWS Google Cloud) .
• Proficiency with version control systems particularly Git.
• Familiarity with tools such as Splunk Dynatrace Web Inspect etc..
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Deep understanding of OO patterns and principles
• Experience with software development best practices including standards code reviews source control builds testing and operations
• Experience deploying cloudcentric architectures
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience in Agile environment
• TSQL programming experience
• Understanding of containerization (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform etc..
• Relevant certifications such as Azure administrator or similar.
