Job Title: Data Visualization Architect (752657

Remote Work: Flexible remote work options are available in accordance with the agency s hybrid work policies.

The IT Data Visualization Architect will craft visualizations and dashboards relevant to the agency s different divisions serving both statewide and internal partners. This position will take part in requirements gathering data modeling visualization design as well as training on site staff on visualization tools.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop datadriven applications and dashboards in Tableau or Power BI both preferred but one or the other will be considered
  
• Conduct thorough data validation to maintain accuracy and consistency
  
• Align agency infrastructure with industry best practices
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align requirements with business objectives
  
• Meet project deadlines and requirements while working independently
  
• Other duties as assigned

Qualification & Experience :

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science Information Systems Data Analytics) or equivalent work experience.
  
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in data visualization data architecture or business intelligence.
  
• Minimum of 3 years of handson experience using Tableau and/or Power BI for data visualization. One of these tools is a must.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Oracle products (Oracle19c RDBMS PL/SQL procedures) is preferred.
  
• Solid understanding of Data Modeling ETL processes and Data Migration.
  
• Experience with O365 applications and Microsoft Excel.

Education
