Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Chief Information Security Officer, this position provides administrative and technical security support for complex and critical DOJ applications and systems. This support includes technologies such as Microsoft Active Directory, 3rd party Active Directory tools, multi-factor authentication, web filtering, and product and cloud vendor security reviews. The position will also be a resource for Incident response and cloud security activities at the DOJ.
This position will act as a technical representative for Enterprise Security while engaging with technicians throughout the organization in the design and implementation of both on-premises IT systems, and cloud and cloud/hybrid-based implementations and solutions. Clients include security staff and IT management as well as end users throughout DOJ. The work is multi-tasking in nature, self-initiated, and primarily conducted independently.
Salary Information
The IS Technical Services Senior position is in pay schedule 07 and pay range 34. The starting pay will be between $34.00 - $43.27/hour (approx. $70,720 - $90,000 annually). Pay for current or former state employees will follow the provisions found in the State of Wisconsin Compensation Plan. A 12-month probationary period may be required.
Job Details
This position may be eligible to work remotely up to 80% as part of a hybrid schedule, following an initial training period. Travel to the headquarters is not eligible for travel reimbursement.
High speed internet access is required to meet the needs of remote work.
Occasional in-state travel will be required. Must be eligible to drive when required for travel.
The Department of Justice does not sponsor work visas at the time of hire or anytime during employment. All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required Employment Eligibility Form I-9.
