Who You'll Work With
As a key member of the Sales team, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, advocating for their needs and ensuring they receive the best solutions. You'll work closely with a team of experienced Customer Engineers, Professional Services, and Executive teams to align our technical resources with your customer's business goals. Collaboration is at the heart of our sales culture, and you'll be supported by a team of like-minded professionals. This role typically reports to a Regional Sales Manager or Area VP of Sales.
What You'll Do
We're seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Leader to join our growing team as a Client Director in the Boston area. This role is crucial for developing our Life Sciences vertical in New England. If you thrive in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, we encourage you to explore this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead consultative selling and solution development to address the needs of large enterprise customers in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, and medical device sectors.
Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities across our product portfolio, including Data Center and Campus Networking platforms, Cloud-based Wi-Fi and POE switches, the Routing Platform, Cloud Vision (network automation & telemetry), and various AI-driven Network Identity Management solutions.
Build and maintain productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts.
Develop and execute targeted account plans in collaboration with partner managers and the sales engineering team.
Drive customer demand through strategic planning, research, and alignment with their mission.
Manage and align business priorities from year 1 to year 3 across a designated territory.
Create a marketing plan tailored to named accounts and territory needs.
Qualifications
Proven Sales Leader with a successful track record of closing large deals with major enterprise organizations.
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS, CS, BBA) or equivalent experience.
At least 10 years of Sales experience, with a focus on major Fortune 500 customers.
Demonstrated success selling to large life sciences and pharmaceutical companies in New England (e.g., Moderna, Biogen, Novartis, Takeda).
Strong leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and external partners.
Expertise in navigating end-user requirements through contracting and resale processes.
Knowledge of networking (Route, Switch, SDN, SD-WAN, Campus Networks, Network Virtualization, NFV), data center, and network automation solutions.
Excellent people skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all organizational levels.
Proven ability to create business plans, document processes, and exceed sales targets.
Willingness to travel within the territory to meet with customers and regional partners.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 85,000.00 Per Year
