Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive management team. This pivotal role will lead the financial operations of our organization, driving strategies that support our manufacturing goals and contribute to our long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership:
Develop and implement financial strategies that align with our long-term business objectives.
Provide insightful financial forecasts, budgeting, and modeling to facilitate informed decision-making.
Lead initiatives aimed at optimizing profitability, controlling costs, and effectively managing working capital.
Oversee risk management, tax planning, and investment strategies to enhance financial stability.
Financial Operations & Compliance:
Direct and support the Controller and accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, as well as compliance with relevant regulations.
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure adherence to accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and maintain robust internal controls.
Coordinate both internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of any identified issues.
Leadership & Team Management:
Inspire and mentor the financial team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Provide guidance and professional development opportunities for team members.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, offering insights that drive operational efficiencies.
Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital requirements.
Champion cost management initiatives and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA/CPA preferred).
A minimum of 8 years of financial management experience, including at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role within the manufacturing sector.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices.
Proven experience in managing AR, AP, and controlling functions.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance and strategic growth in a manufacturing environment.
