Location: Abilene TX
Salary: $63000 $70000 per year
SignOn Bonus: $10000
Relocation Assistance: $5000 for applicants relocating 200 miles away
Schedule: FullTime Day Shift Monday to Friday

Job Summary

Join our team as a Cardiovascular Sonographer where youll perform diagnostic cardiovascular examinations and deliver exceptional patient care in a collaborative and professional environment. Youll play a vital role in identifying and assessing heart and vascular conditions contributing to lifesaving diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic cardiovascular exams as per physician orders and department protocols.
• Generate preliminary reports for physician interpretation.
• Document procedures and manage electronic records.
• Communicate critical findings to Cardiologists and referring physicians.
• Collaborate with team leaders to address workflow significant findings and equipment issues.
• Maintain equipment and ensure quality performance during procedures.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma.
• Experience: 1 year of onthejob training or graduation from an accredited ultrasound school.
• Licenses/Certifications:
• Required: RDCS or RCS (Adult Echocardiography) or RVT or RVS (Vascular Sonography) within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification.
• Skills:
• Expertise in cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures.
• Proficiency in operating ultrasound systems PVR BP monitors and computer systems.
• Availability for oncall hours including weekends and holidays.
