Automotive Parts Counter Location Hyde Park, VT : Job Summary: Lamoille Valley Chevrolet is seeking a motivated and experienced Automotive Parts Counter Salesperson to join our team in Hyde Park, Vermont. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their automotive parts needs, maintaining inventory levels, and contributing to overall sales goals. Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Identify and locate automotive parts and accessories for customers
• Provide accurate pricing and product information
• Process customer orders and payments
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and keep shelves organized and stocked
• Collaborate with service department to ensure timely delivery of parts
• Assist in identifying and resolving customer concerns
• Meet and exceed sales targets and goals
• Keep up-to-date with new products and promotions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in automotive parts sales or similar role preferred
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Customer service-oriented mindset
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with computer systems and software
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
