Position Overview: As an Associate Director of Paid Media, you will lead the strategy and execution of advanced paid media campaigns across major platforms like Meta, Google, Bing, TikTok, and LinkedIn. You will manage high-profile accounts, optimize performance, and ensure successful campaign delivery while guiding a team of talented professionals. Responsibilities:
Develop and execute paid media strategies on platforms like Meta, Google, Bing, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other emerging channels for lead generation and/or eCommerce clients (experience in both is a plus!).
Independently manage multiple client accounts, ensuring campaigns meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and business objectives.
Maintain regular communication with clients, providing performance updates and addressing concerns.
Troubleshoot issues with available tools and resources, showing initiative to resolve challenges independently.
Analyze data (e.g., ROI, ROAS, CPA, CTR) and apply insights to optimize campaign performance.
Collaborate with the creative team to ensure that high-quality ads and assets are being used effectively.
Stay current with paid media trends and incorporate new knowledge into campaigns for improved results.
Conduct A/B testing and take calculated risks to achieve optimal client outcomes.
Mentor and assist junior team members, offering guidance and oversight on their campaigns.
Hold regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports, supporting their professional development and conducting performance reviews.
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in paid media campaign management, with strong expertise in platforms like Google, Facebook, Bing, Twitter, Pinterest, Amazon, etc.
18+ months of experience in managing and mentoring team members.
Experience managing monthly budgets ranging from $200k to $1M.
Proven ability to create innovative paid media strategies and guide junior team members in executing creative solutions.
In-depth platform knowledge and hands-on experience with paid media tools.
Familiarity with Google Analytics and Tag Manager, with troubleshooting experience.
Google Ads and Facebook Blueprint certifications are a plus.
Experience with Google Merchant Center and/or feed management platforms is a plus.
