As an Associate Director of Marketing & Strategy, you will be responsible for creating customer demand for the Masterbrand, Jell-O across the Refrigerated Ready to Eat and Dry Package Dessert categories as well as, the total Baking Portfolio including brands like Bakers Chocolate and Kraft Caramels. Your responsibilities will span across strategy, innovation and renovation, agency management, P&L and financial ownership, as well as near and long-term strategic planning and development. This position defines the brand's pricing, packaging, trade merchandising, advertising and promotion strategies and is accountable for delivering the brand's profit, volume and market share goals.
This position is best suited for someone who is strategic, consumer focused, data-literate, creative, organized, has a strong bias for action and excellent communication. This person must be comfortable working both horizontally and vertically across the organization to keep multiple projects moving forward to successfully achieve deadlines and organizational KPI’s.
The Scope:
Define The Destination
– Build & operationalize Portfolio Strategy for DPD, RRTE and Baking for Market Growth
– Super charge growth on Jell-O via the creation of a clear strategy & marketing mix that will have the biggest impact in solving the business challenges & drive sustainable demand.
Transformational Strategic Execution of the Business & Brand Strategy
– Simplify complex: break down multi-layered concepts of the strategy into understandable prioritized components and communicate them out
– Have the ability to have 10000 ft. view and also willingness and ability to work in trenches
– Empowerment of the team to achieve the business plan
– Executional excellence: work with the team, solve problems and carry out plans to achieve
People Development and Team Building
– Build and enable passionate & productive teams
– Foster a culture of ownership and determination
– Effectively prioritize actions that will enable execution of the strategy & delivery of the AOP
– Establish and Drive a Culture of Collaboration (across the whole cross functional team) to carry out plans to achieve desired results.

Has built and executed a strategic growth plan for a brand across top & bottom-line, over a 1YP and 3YP Horizon that drove measurable brand growth
Delivered results in driving demand for a brand across the 4 P's of the marketing mix: product, price, place, and promotion and can coach and train others to learn the skill as well.
Has built or co-lead the build of a brand position (Ambition and brand plate) and can coach and train others to learn the skill as well.
Has built or co-lead the creation of a product strategy & point of difference workflow for a brand and can coach and train others to learn the skill as well.
Has built or co-lead brand communications on either a small or large scale – knows how to work and can coach others to work with a creative agency, media agency, measurement teams to utilize analytic tools to measure campaign success
Has built or co-lead brand Innovation strategy on either a small or large scale – knows how to work and can coach others to learn the skill as well.
