Job Description

ATARID has been retained to identify an Asset Managers by our client, a vertically integrated real estate investment firm specializing in commercial real estate assets:

Title: Asset Manager - Chicago, IL
Responsibilities:

-Work closely and collaboratively with the acquisitions team and provide recommendations.
-Effectively drive value creation and performance of assets in accordance with the company's investment, value creation strategy.
-Develop and execute annual business plans by ensuring all departments work together to achieve goals and objective of each asset.
-Assess and manage risks associated with current assets.
-Stay abreast of market trends related to demographics, job growth, economic drivers that affect the portfolio and act accordingly.
-Analyze property value timeline to forecast for future estimated value.
-Analyze and evaluate portfolio progress and enact necessary changes.
-Monitor asset performance against benchmarks including company objectives, metrics, budget, and markets.
-Collaborate on budget forecasts and quarterly valuation updates.
-Improve and develop reporting on key performance metrics.
-Monitor and provide analysis on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational reports.

Qualifications:

-3+ years' successful asset management experience of company owned retail asset portfolio.
-Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or accounting.
-Self-starter with demonstrated success in office and retail asset management.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
-Strong financial background with knowledge of real estate
-Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google tools
-Strong problem-solving skills: organized, detailed, and able to meet deadlines, and execute projects.
-Results driven, team player with ability to collaborate across the organization.

Location: Remote initially, then office based in Chicago, IL

Compensation: To $180,000 commensurate with experience, plus Bonus and Comprehensive Benefits Package.
