Overview:

APRN or PA for our West Lebanon, NH Treatment Center

 

West Lebanon, NH is recruiting a APRN or PA for a MAT Addictions program to treat patients in a highly-specialized, and quality-focused environment. Our team at West Lebanon CTC, Habit OPCO is seeking to add a Part-Time provider to join our team. We are looking to start 1-2 days a week from 6 AM until 12 PM with flexibility on the days. Our Comprehensive Treatment Center is an outpatient Opioid Treatment Center that offers medication assisted treatment for all genders over the 18 years old.

 

Lebanon is in western New Hampshire, south of Hanover, New Hampshire, near the Connecticut River. It is the home to Hitchcock Medical Center and Dartmouth College's Geisel School of Medicine, together comprising the largest medical facility between Boston and Burlington Vermont. Together with Hanover, New Hampshire, and Vermont, Lebanon is at the center of an area, encompassing nearly 30 towns along the upper Connecticut River valley

 

We require:

  • Current license to practice medicine by the state in which the facility or clinic(s) operates
  • Board certification or certificate of admissibility for board certification by American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry (AAAP), or other certification within their discipline
  • Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working
  • Additional specific DEA credentials may be required, per state and clinic regulations or policy

Physician Talent Acquisition

 

Responsibilities:

Summary:

  • Makes a comprehensive physical assessment of patients consistent with training and education;
  • Performs physical examinations on patients admitted for medication maintenance;
  • Ensures physician medication orders are being followed. Refers patients to appropriate physicians and consults with the supervising physician;
  • Evaluates patient care, adjusting the plan of care based on outcomes, diagnostic test results, and patient feedback;
  • Provides patient and staff education on medication maintenance;
  • Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, CARF Standards, and clinic policy and procedure;
  • Maintains and expands knowledge base in accordance with the requirements necessary to maintain professional certification as a Physician Assistant; and,
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Physician Assistant program from an accredited college or university
  • Previous experience in a substance abuse treatment clinic preferred
  • No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Board certified Physician Assisant.
  • Licensed Physician Assistant able to practice in state where the clinic operates. 
  • DEA license.
