Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant with a strong background in bookkeeping and financial reporting to join our team. The ideal candidate will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing monthly reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.

The role will require extensive use of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel , so proficiency in both is essential. If you are looking for a position where your analytical skills and attention to detail can make a difference, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and payroll.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Prepare financial statements and reports (e.g., balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow).
• Monitor financial transactions and ensure accurate recording.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist in preparing year-end audits and tax returns.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Proven experience with QuickBooks (required).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and tax filing (preferred).
